Xinjiang International Hunting Field

As the largest province in china, Xinjiang is of global ecological significance, you will find here varied physiognomy as well as climate and environment from plateau to basin, from forest to grassland, from gobi to oasis and from desert to lake, which becomes the base for the bio-diversity on this land. And there are in total 726 species of vertebrates including 154 mammals, 425 birds, 45 reptiles, 7 amphibians and 95 fishes.
The international hunting started in 1989 when the 9 hunting fields were set up. Ever since then, hunters from the U.S.A, Canada, Mexico, England, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Saudi Arab, United Arab Emirates, Bahrein etc have been visited here and totally more than 300 wildlife were hunted.
